Having lost my football virginity last evening by attending the England v Greece game at Old Trafford, I was struck at the photo on the cover of the programme. This new chap looks exactly like a hybrid of Prince Charles and the Hewit bloke.

Ding-dong. That Hewitt. (he was having an affair with Princess Diana).
As English as fish and chips, the propensity to having affairs most certainly is.

I am not sure what Hewitt bloke you mean. Not the tennis player, surely; Steve McLaren has no resemblance to an Aussie surfer tennis dude. Anyway, if you mean he looks as English as fish 'n chips, you're right. I have a feeling the kick-and-rush football, hooliganism and bad results against Germany et al are due back as well. It's about time we enjoyed some proper English football again, exhuming European players from the pitch after 90 minutes of raw violence.

Lol ! I'm not keen on the guy. He seems to be pretty arrogant,but that not what matters! If he can bring the England team up to scratch,that's good! Hybrid of Charles and Hewitt ? Poor man!! But now you come to mention it!!!!

I think that he knows of his proffesion and the victory last night (with a resault 4:0 in England's favour) is showing that he's better that the last manager of England.
