at home its fine but not at work: vodafone and ciao, when i want to view my account the page where it displays all the details of the account stays blank. why?

The security settings on your works pc are set so that certain scripts won't load or run, just don't try to access these things from work.
You certainly don't have the right to alter the security settings or install software or plugins, you could be in trouble at work.

Maybe they have blocked the cookies, try looking in Internet options in tools and changing things in the privacy bit. When I set my thing to high it blocks some sites and certain pages that are secure

Either they use cookies and your workplace blocks cookies, or they use your computer's IP address.
I wouldn't worry about it. You're not supposed to do personal websurfing at work anyway.

It depends on the browser your using the operative system and if appropriate plug-ins are installed
