when you intentionally lie to a person to mean him/her harm, seeing that he/she believes you--- or chooses to believe you for that matter---

don't you ever feel guilty that the person trusts your sincerity, and you know you don't even deserve that trust?

i don't do that to people, but I recently went through this with an ex-boyfriend of two years who basically lied to me through our entire relationship and used me. He was very callous in telling me that and had no remorse for it either.

I've encountered people like this too. In many cases they don't feel guilty because they don't have a conscience. You may have just encountered a sociopath. In any case it doesn't sound like you'd want to have any dealings with this person in the future. Good luck.

Yes, my dear. I do feel ver guilty. I'm not much of a liar. But when I do lie, usually it was meant to protect somebody but I still feel somewhat guilty though.

No I don't try and hurt people. Thats just sad. If I did, even unintentionally I would feel very guilty, and try and make it up to them.
