Cycling for 30Min's every day. Or 2-3hours every weekend.
This tones and tightens the legs and bum, and is fun, as you can get out and go places, instead of sitting at home or in the gym.
Alternately, ballet kick.
Lift you're leg up in front of you (try for 90degrees), keeping you're back straight and hold for 10second. Now lift it to the side (once more keeping you re back straight) Over time see how much higher you can lift it and longer you can hold it up.
Unfortunately these things take time, so dont stop after a week if it doesn't work. It takes at least a month.
Good luck.

Hi, i would recommend light excersice to firm the thigh muscles like squats on stuff, or you could even by a stepper ive got one and they work brilliantly, air walkers are brilliant also, gently excercise, do a few squats, lieon your side and raise you leg up and down and to it on the other side. there are many excercises you can do, get a book with diagrams in from your library or even print some off the net other way is to diet, i have a problem where, when i put on weight it goes straight to my thighs, i get ride of this by dieting i just cut down on my food in take and i gradually loose a few pounds and them i am back to normal, but if you dont want to cut down on food thenexcercise is always good, but both is better for you eatinghealthy and excercise.

you are only 15

dont even think about surgery !

eat healthy, drink plenty of water, eat fibrous food - the advantage is it makes you feel full but most of it is discarded by the body, eat lots of green leafy veg and lots of fruits

pls pls dont do any crazy diets - just control your calorie intake.

and yes have an exercise routine its very important.

you must do atleast 30 minutes of exercise atleast 3 times a week. 30 minutes everyday would be even better to burn those calories off !!

running / jogging and swimming are great for thigh muscles.

if you fancy joining your local gym, they'll be happy to tell you what exercises are better for what part of the body.

good luck in getting in shape !! :-)

I know how difficult it is to be 15., and have had a lot of friends who have had problems with their bodies and ha eating problems.
The best thing to do is to go to the gym, but really look around. No one is perfect. You are who you are. BE proud of it. Don't get preoccupied with trying to be perfect and have lean thighs. You are young have fun and go out with your friends. Your teeneage years fly by so treasure them.
If you are bothered then look at athletes bodies they have large thighs and they do loads of sport and eat healthily. So don't worry. I play hockey which gives you large thighs and I don't care. No one looks. And if they do it is only because they are insecure.

the best way to get rid of weight from around your bum and thigh area is to eat less carbohydrates; bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. and then to tone up you should try going to the gym 3/4 times a week. have a go on the rowing machines, tredmills, blikes etc and you should have your legs sorted in no time. x x

Cut down on the junk food and exercise - plenty of it. Go for long walks - go to a gym, Go for a run - take part in a charity fun run, play energetic sports (football/Netball/Hockey etc. etc). Take part in gymnastics.

Do nothing out of usual daily excersise! it is probably there to grow into still, don't get so paranoid about it, you don't want to be a skinny girl, i'm a normal size (8) with big thighs but they don't bother me, it's more feminine than skinny legs trust me!
Stop worrying!
