Not to spoil the movie, but it DOES take place in Baltimore(if I remember correctly) and several scenes are on the streets with gangs, etc. There are also some sections where there is violence, including the shooting scene.
As far as sex scenes go, thank goodness there isn't one!!
I think PG13 is a good rating for this...PG is pushing it, but it's not enough to go R
This is a great movie, and I would recommend all to go see it!

language, violence, and a shooting incident at the end of the movie. There is no sex at all.
