No, she is not fertile at all when she is "on her period" a woman's period is an unfertilized egg leaving the body.. so.. not fertile then, but about 7 days before and 7 days after her period.

NO! You are usually more fertile a week or so after your period, usually in the middle.

A woman is least firtile (but still, firtile none the less) at that time of month, and most firtile at the opposite time of month. And just a hint...women find men less desirable when they are completely ignorant of these things, but you're asking so that's at least a good first step.
