I think John's been watching 'Love Actually' again.
He thinks that he's Hugh Grant and will be popular if he shags his secretary and slags off the President in public.
He's more like Alan Rickman's character - the sad old git!

yest it would, but who actually gives a rats as$ what John Prescott thinks? The British people son't so there's no way in hell the American Administration will be too bothered.
I think it is far more telling that whatever Prescott said in private to his aides and colleagues, he then has to lie about it.
So what if he did say that? He would be better saying, Ok well, yeah I said it, but only as a joke, Most of the country would support him and go Oh well that's John. It wouldn't make a diplomatic incident or anything.

I think the pot often calls the kettle black, isn't that so? I thought that was what we called 'mudslinging'.
Still, Prescott does seem to be in quite a bad position to be calling other people names. It's the revelation that 'we only went to war to get US cooperation over the Middle East road map...' that's more interesting to me. These words have a lot of poignancy in and of themselves.

heavily, he would be much extra embarrassing than Blair... Britain would be international renowned for having a primary Minister that went to all of the bashes, scoffed each and every of the sausage rolls and then buggers off lol. i will think of it, "John, some previous woman's in Glasgow desire you to open their city hall, 'Hmmm, what form of cake are they going to have?'' Hahaha Britain is so fucked besides. Prescott for top Minister certainly!

I agree, this is a funny one. You have a brainless northern twit in Prescott, who's only role in life is to take our money, through false pretences. Then you have Bush, who is not recognised for his IQ and like "Pressy", is famous for opening his mouth and jumping in with both feet. It is a close run thing between them both, just who is the thickest.

It would be politically incorrect for Prescott to publicly behave like this, but personally and privately, I think he has every right to express his opinion.
