Not really, he's just saying what everybody else has been saying just five years later and a bit more prominently. Maybe he figures he has nothing left to lose. In which case, he should go out with a bang - no, literally, he should dress up as a native American, with face paint and feathers, and challenge Bush to a duel. Yee-ha!
