cyclone the disc at copa cabana club, you will never forget that place once you step inside it, the environment is mind blowing.
alternativley you can go to the Irish Pub at Ascot hotel in Bur Dubai, there you will get several singles. you can also go to inter continental it is also good with live band playing there

Lots of Expats go to Hard Rock, Rock Bottoms and the Irish Village. If you want meet people other wasy then you should join some kind of classes or a gym or something where you can meet people.

It depends on your taste. There is something for everyone in Dubai. You just need to know what you are looking for and where to look. You can always make new friends, it depends on your attitude, if you look for closed people you will find them and if you look for open people you will find them too.
