I did not change my password from the
day i created my yahoo account 3 years
ago.But i got a notification to my alternate email that my
password has been changed recently.I
give my personal details very
accurately to get a new password after
this problem,but i couldnot get it.I
gave the same information to retrieve
my yahoo id (i did so,just to check my personal details are correct or not)and I got it(yahoo id) in my
alternate mail,so the personal
informations are correct.But I am not
able to get my new password.I am very
desperate as i have many valuble
information stored in my yahoo mails.I
need to access those mails. i tried a lot with yahoo help and customer care.,till now ,not satisfied with its answers.Please help
me.

ur account has been hacked.....the hacker just changed the password and all the other details like security question......so that you cant get around it again using forgot password option........
well i was once a wannabe hacker......so i can tell you this that whoever did this is close to you like classmate but not interested in keeping eye on you...whoever did this just wants you to be disturbed....so that he gets his revenge......
coz if had to keep eye on you than he would never have changed ur password.....so that you continue to use ur account and he could read all of them.....
as far as help goes......noone can help ya....only a professional hacker can help ya to get ur account back....
may be you try to remeber whether somene tried to do some social engineering on ya i.e trying to know ur personal stuff like phone no, address, parents name,dogs name,girlfriend's name, or any similar stuff,etc. if someone was, then he could be the culprit coz hacking yahoo passwords need some of the indormation to guess the right password of security questions.....

hey ,{this had happened to me 2 when an unknown person break into my mail by changing my password}someone has break into your mail and changed ur password. you can try and forget this adress cos it aint good or useful to u anymore ,try and close it down and open a new one or if u still want it i got some help. when u want 2 {signin to yahoo} type your{ email username} and click on {forget password}, it will tell u to provide{ some of d information u provided the day u registered}, if u still remember type them and provide your {alternate email }. your new password and your information will be send to you. hope this help.GOOD LUCK

I think it's not very easy to get it because u should know the changed password so that noly u will able to get a new password.so pls go with a new

try through 'forgot my password' thing. and if u dint get
just get password with hacker and change it and install anti-hawker software to avoid hacking ur mail.

Please recheck if you are attempting to log in correctly - particularly please ensure that
(i) while typing password "caps lock" - "Num lock" -"scroll lock" are properlyin position.
(ii)There is no mispelling either in id or password and letters in proper case - small/big(?)
(iii) your browser is working correctly. To confirm same let some other person open his yahoo-id on your computer.
If everthing is okay, please open the log-in page and click "sign-in help" and feedproper information as asked.
You will get new password.
If problem still persists, please click yahoo!help or contact yahoo's Mumbai Office (If you are in India)

Change your Email adress you have acces to your Personal detail's your question answers itself.
