What's your basis? You think war was his first desire? Even if Iraq is a questionable war, what about Al-Queda? Their attacks on us warranted that we go after them and since we can only chase them, we had to carry out our response in Afghanistan. And something that always puzzles me about you conspiricists is that while you are the first to say that the government doesn't tell us everything, you conveniently ignore the fact that they aren't required to tell us everything. Therefore, what do we know about why we are in Iraq? What I do know is that Hussein had used WMD's against his own people, which suggests that he has some around, and knowing how Syria is a snake in the grass it's not a stretch to think that they took in his stock, perhaps Russia did too, who really knows? Who really has to care? The government does. Not me. I see enough reason to get that proven genocidal maniac out of a position of being able to harm our country because of what the elder President Bush did to him in ' 91 and did it the right way by me. Only the naive would think Hussein would just get over it. And what if we didn't go to Iraq? What if they had something to do with a hypothetically successful attack on American soil? You'd all be clamoring for his blood too. So give us all a break.

The real problem is not Bush. He speaks on behalf of various companies that pursue a higher profit and that will do all that is possible in order to maintain a power control in the upcoming years/future.

Bush was an alcoholic before being a president .He left alcohol and the power of presidency went to his head and he started being warcoholic because the kick of warcoholic is more than being alcoholic. The blood of patriotic soldiers is more potent stimulant than alcohol as those innocent patriot soldiers are not even aware they are being used for a useless cause.

He has a simplistic mind so thinks everything can be resolved immediately in U.S. favor through war.
If he had just a little understanding of longer term consequences and had more of a humanitarian heart, perhaps, this would not always be the first thing that comes to his mind.
