How do you mean forget?
If you're talking about getting over HIM after the end of a relationship, I agree. Women seem to be more in touch with realities of life and get on with it than Men. I believe its an ego thing, rather than emotional.

Love is a gender equal emotion. I think that men and women may handle a breakup differently, but not all of them. Men will usually try to not think about her, and women will talk to all their friends to get support. It really depends on how much they were effected. In my last break up I thought that it was mutual, but later found out that he was devastated. I was fine because I had fallen out of love while we were together, he was going to have to try to fall out of love after we were apart. I don't think either gender can get over love easier than the other.
