How sad is it that this family has been under speculation for the murder of there daughter for the last ten years, then to find out yesterday they had arrested someone for her murder. How sad is it that Patsy Ramsey died before they made the arrest? This poor family has been through hell and back.

Everyone is right her mother went over board with all the beauty contests with her. I dont think this murder would have ever happened if that little girl wasn't in the public eye...It is sad for her.

It is a very sad situation. With all the controversy, it's hard to know what to believe. But losing a child has to be one of the most painful things a person can go through in their entire life. To top that pain with getting the blame for the child's death, and having millions of people looking at them with suspicious eyes....that would be unreal. I feel very badly for them.

What I want to know is how did the guy get into their house. Did he have a key? Did he know the Ramseys?
Ramsey reckons he cannot recall knowing the guy who did it. It is all a bit strange to me. It is sad that Patsy died before the arrest. I hope that little JonBenet's memory can be put to rest now.

Anyway why would parents put that poor kid through all that beauty pageant stuff at such a young age. Just my opinion.

Who cares that the girl was a beauty queen too young.. who cares that her mother went overboard with it??? What matters is that a child was murdered.. that happens every day wether a child is in the public eye or not.... what is sad is that the family was suspected of it..

Losing a child is bad enough.. being accused of it is inimaginable.. and to face the scrutiny of being a 'bad parent' because Patsy 'exploited' her daughter's beauty.. after the child was found dead is even more unimaginable...

They found the killer, the family can relax.. and Patsy can rest.

Terrible! I feel so sorry for the family for everything they've been through.

I heard that Patsy Ramsey knew they had a suspect a month before she died. I hope that gave her a little bit of closure before she died!

I can't even begin to imagine such a thing happening to anyone close to me.........so sad!

it's not that big of a deal in any investigation the parents, family, family friends are always under suspicion it's called a MISTAKE, everyone has made them, and it is sad that patsy died before finding out her daughters killer but as long as she knew she was innocent no one Else's opinion really matters.

Tragic I know. What a sick sad world we live in. How awful to lose your beautiful little girl and then get blamed for it yourself. My prayers are with the Ramsey family. Let justice prevail to the bastard that did this to her.

Pasty and her husband knew about this person before Patsy died, they found out about a month or 2 before she passed in June.

"He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional. He said he was in love with the child. She was a pageant queen."

He's claiming it was an accident, but admitting he was with her when she died.

And it is so sad, but I think there's too many things we don't know. How did he know where they moved to? How did he get in? Obviously, the parents decision to put her in pageants was a poor one, this weird-o became obsessed with their daughter, and look at the results.

It's all so tangled we will never know now. Poor kid was all dressed up like a pro all the time, and behind closed doors getting beaten with a bursh etc. What a tangled mess.

I don't feel sorry for them. Was their bad judgement that caused this. Bad parenting, bad decision. I only feel sorry for JonBenet. I would never dress my daughter up like her mum did and have her parade around like a strumpet.

Lousy choices in friends and strangers they let into their home, as well.
