How do you feel when peole like Carlos Mencia or George Lopez or even Dave Chappelle makes fun of your race? When they critized mexicans (which I am one) I laugh and honestly some if not most stuff they say it's true. I'm proud of all the funny things we do. How do you feel when they make fun of your race or when other have sterotypes? They really crack down and talk alot of smack about white peole. But what's funny is that carlos is married to a white girl. Me and my boyfriend talk and make fun of whites, we will go all day talking like hicks, and we'll make fun of blacks, we really talk about mexicans! But what's funny it's that my boyfriend is white, I'm mexican or also known a a proud beaner, and my best friend is black. So what do you think? When my bf drives up I lock my door and say I'm scared and she says naw I'm just looking for some mexican to clean my house, Okay I know lots of people are gonna freak out on me but chill out and learn to laugh.

Most of the time it's hilarious and I can do nothing but laugh. It doesn't often make me mad. I also like that we have a set of quirks that people think are funny. Some of them are stereotypes and those don't bother me. I'm for the most part not a stereotype. It's only when a person says something that isn't true, but acts like it's written in stone when I get upset. Like all Blacks are criminals and they mean that ish. That upsets me, but if Dave or Carlos makes a silly analogy or something it's perfectly fine.

The only real problem I have with that is how the black comedians always make white folks seem so dorky and nieve. But the jokes like "why are white people the only ones gettin' attacked by sharks?" That's so true, we crackers are crazy! While we're on the subject, did you here the one about the blue guy walking into a bar? No, I can't tell that one, I'll probally get banned for that one. Blue people are so senstive.

Sometimes i do get upset when people make nasty comments about my 'race'. But most of the time i simply ignore them. We live in a world where we increasingly come in contact with all knids of people. It is in our interest that we learn to ignore and not worry about so many of the narrow minded idiots who surround us.

Laugh is good meds, better than drugs and gang banging.
Become a clown.
I know where they come from originally but now it is time to make them laughter and make dance for life, you can't when your gone not here anyway.

Of course I would feel hurt and angry but the thing is that you have to be rational and never let the emotion rules your brain.
The best way is to confront the person and ask him or her to shut up.

depends on the person...I dont care....I'm multiracial....there are always gonna be ppl who live up to their stereotypes...always...and some ppl who dont. If its in good fun like mencia and chappelle then fine. but if it is like the nazi's and the kkk then I'm like what the hell is your problem...

It depends on if it is actual criticism or simply stereotypes. Stereotypes are believed by some people. Legitimate criticism is pretty rare simply because they are so generalized.

I'm an Australian, it's in my nature to shrug it off. Try not to take to heart what dictating arseholes say about your race, it's only their small minded opinion.
