Rich and poor countries alike face water crisis

GENEVA (Reuters) - Rich countries have to make drastic changes to policies if they are to avoid the water crisis that is facing poorer nations, the WWF environmental organization said on Wednesday.

its not as pure as it could be, but completely pure water tastes like crap, its the minerals and stuff that makes it better.

We never know, what ever the brand we are always guessing it is pure. More so one must note that there is hardly any place on earth that is uncontaminated with pesticides. There are only few companies that tap these untouched resources, but, then they are very expensive and not all can afford. Other, normlly collect from springs or even from the municipal taps and pass it throyugh filters and reverse osmosis processes and bottle them and sell it to us.
These definitely will be contaminated by pesticide and other chemicals that usually dont break down on its own.
When I was in college we tested fresh cow milk for the chemicals and were surprised to find pesticide of various types including DDT in the milk.
However much these NGOs cry, the Govt. may shout hoarse but these people just go ahead with their ways of making money. Pure bottled water is, therefore, only a dream especially in the developing and the underdeveloped countries.

There are real pure bottled water. Although many so called bottled water are actually not truely pure.

superhootie's full of it. Virtually all bottled water is reverse osmosis filtered and is quite pure.

Depends on the brand.Some come from springs.
