Me and my older brother love 80's music! who else thinks its the only time where the majority of the music was actuallly good.
my mom and dad listen to every crappy song from the 80's that i hate! me and my brother listen to the classic music that doesnt suck.
and also today for $10, i could have gotten an 80's cd! but my parents refused to buy it! i think its cause it had good music on it!
i need opinions......

I only like it in moderation. Unfortunately, our bosses at work only let us listen to the WORST station around. They can play something like Madonna of Phil Collins three to four times in a 10 hour day. This annoys a lot of people at work to the point we just turn off the radio! I have to admit it's not the music,... its the station, (magic 105.3 in San Antonio) One of those that plays the same freekin' song, (that's right song!) day after day, and even a few times within a shift.

Because lots of it was sh!"e, some good stuff though lots of bad....Kajagoogoo, Shakin Stevens....Heaven 17, Specials,Jam...depends on what ur into really, Ballroom Blitz was the Sweet from the glam 70's although they managed a cheesy 80's hit with Love is like Oxygen....

Video meant obscure bands who could no longer get recording contracts ought to get airplay besides, which became into super for a newborn in the suburbs long before we had the internet and its opportunities. there became into extra area for creativity and innovation. a number of those experiments 'failed', yet it is purely area of the strategies-set of attempting new issues. movies have been low-value selection, quirky and many relaxing, somewhat those shown on community programming somewhat than MTV. with the aid of 1985, we've been already dropping that as industry caught directly to the magnitude of movies, positioned their extensive budgets in the back of them and did their damnedest to the two close the door on independents or co-decide them. yet for awhile a slice of dad music and rock belonged to the persons, no longer A&R experts.

because people are sheep, they follow trends and fashions that are dictated to them, the best music is from the 70's-80's. it's like the people who download a song instead of buying a full cd, they don't like the rest of the cd so they say, but to have not heard it before making these sill statements. if they hear it everyday on the radio they like it because they are forced to, i call this comercial ****, but to these people out there get a life

80's music is the best. My favourites are Shakin' Stevens, Culture Club, Wham (George Michael) and Bonnie Tyler.

the 70s and 80s marked the birth of legendary metal bands like iron maiden, metallica, helloween, and rock bands too like stone temple pilots, guns and roses.
nowadays music has become too superficial. even new-age metal, or "nu-metal" bands like LP, AFI, etc have become very focused on image and have more or less lost the spirit of rock. im sure it applies to many other genres, but being a metal fan, i only know these. heh.
