Debbie R, do u speack french to understand french humour, have u ever been in France???
I think that it's not a question of nationality but personality.
I'm french and I think it's very funny when i see huge manisfestation against a new contract of work and in the same time country manifest to be free!
And I find also some speech of bush very funny
ex "This money is yours, u have paid to have it "(LaCrosse Post, 18 Oct. 2000)
But i'm ok to say that english are very funny.
PS: it's funny because almost of the coutry that u say are english spoken...it's maybe just a problem of translation or not understanding!

Definitely the British as far as producing humour is concerned. As far as understanding and enjoying humour - pretty much all nationalities. It all depends on the individual.

Definitely Britain. That is why no one understands us. We have the loud and obvious and the subtle. Just look at our weird sayings. Plus we know how to point fun at ourselves and have fun pointed out at oursleves without then crying that this hurts our human rights and all that crap about political correctness. WE know, sometimes a joke is just a joke

England! Nobody else understands sarcasm as well as us Brits. We also know how to take the micky out of ourselves just as well as others.

All I know is that it is NOT France.

Those people act like every last one of them is constipated, and to tell you the truth, a constipated person is not really that funny to me.

DAMN.
