Who doesn't usally read Fantasy books but likes the Harry Potter series?

I like the Harry Potter Series but i don't usally like nor read Fantasy books. I guess it's because Harry Potter has sooo much more to it than all the fantasy stuff.

I love Harry Potter! I am 25 but can't help being totally into it! I love that it is good for people of all ages to read and get into! I also really like the movies!:)

I don't usually read Fantasy books, but I am really into the Harry Potter series.
I am an avid reader and read various genres, but Fantasy hasn't ever been a favorite in the past. I discovered the Harry Potter books when my nephew asked me to read them to him and I've been hooked ever since!

I am a huge harry potter freak though I really dont read anything else under fantasy.
Yet there is another series I would recommend "His Dark Materials" by Phillip Pullman, they include (in order) The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass.
Its been reported that the golden compass is in production to be released as a movie soon.

I don't really get into fantasy books, and I love Harry Potter. I got into him late in the game, though. Sometime between Order of the Phoenix and the Half Blood Prince. I didn't think I would like them, so I never even thought about reading them, then my hubby brought them home for our son. In reading them to him, I got hooked!

I avoided Harry Potter for quite some time because I am not interested in "fantasy" at all... however it is an amazing series and I am psyched for the next book. I hope JK continues writing.
