It is my belief that we can. This is probably done by your mind picking up subtle cues that your concious mind isn't processing quickly enough. I always trust my gut feeling.

Most people who have been in law enforcement will tell you, that alot of victims felt something was wrong but ignored it thinking they were just being paranoid. I don't know if it's a true sixth sense or visual clues picked up by the sub conscious, but you can sense danger in most cases if you are aware of your surroundings

I think we have lost a lot of out natural senses due to education and living in a more sophisticated society. We listen and read and try to learn new things, but forget to focus on "inner senses" and learn more about our natural ability to "sense" danger and analyze potential negative situations. I think in general we have become more learned, but have also become more naive in the process.
Personally, I trust my "senses", and have learned this through life experiences.......yes, trust your "gut" feelings!

sixth sense helps us to sense the danger but very few have this talent.

My spider sense tingles!

Hey there!

*robot wave arms* DANGER WILL ROBINSON!

Using your existing senses, plus your brain will enable you to detect danger in plenty of ways. Anything you don't know how to detect now you will learn to detect in time ... if it doesn't wipe you out first!

Truly - whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger

or at least better able to detect it

listen to that voice in yur gut, and listen to it. that inner gut voice (as I call it) has saved me , many times; from angry husbands wanting to kill me ; for sleeping with their wives, I would suddenly change all my patterns and habits of travel and timings. later I would hear people were looking for me. on the job ; I would sense stuff ; and adapt; the details and examples go on, on and on. in modern times most people ignore this strength or wisdom; it's a nature survival tool
