hotwheels collectors please help I'm still new to this.......?

Question

why is the year on the back of the pack differant from the year on the bottom of the car & sometimes VERY differant,like almost 10 years on a couple of them.And why dont they all have a year on them?

Well the year on the hotwheel itself is when it was originally designed and the year on the package is when that particular card was printed.
