Our bias against Arabs who are suffering from the war machine of Israel which has the FULL support of our government. Why!? I was stunned during this last massacre in Lebanon, when I watched some of the news coverage on foreign TV stations and newspapers! It is if we are being brained washed!! There is a new Holocaust taking place in the Middle East and America is turning an eye on it!!! American weapons are used in that war. American diplomacy has been hijacked by Israel to serve Israeli interest. We need to wake up America.

I agree with you 90% and I try everyday on here to protest what we are doing in the middle east. And like last week wihen Bush came out and said that we are at war with 'Islamic Fascists". I see no difference between Bush and Hitler when Hitler convinced the masses that all Jews were evil....

some people won't be able to understand the roots of this conflict flow very far on both fringe of the border. earlier you bypass judgement please conceal the heritage of the conflict then come for your own end. it type of feels to me because Lebanon is an Arab united states that they should be incorrect...this sound like xenophobia to me. Israel has a good to protect herself yet in such disproportional rigidity is unjust and the killing of over 500 civilians interior the previous month is a conflict crime. Lebanon: Hezbollah are area of the Lebanese's authorities, very reminiscent of Sinn Fein in eire. They were/are freedom combatants set up in 1982 to rid the occupying Israeli forces, even if some undesirable apples were given in and shortly sufficient became branded as a terrorist party - This very similar element occurred to the IRA....they were initially freedom combatants. The occupying of land in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and maximum extraordinarily Palestine is the major situation right here. If Israel were to adhere to the UN determination handed in 1967 after the 6 day conflict and hand back illegally occupied Palestinian land the major root of the project might want to be resolved.

Well, if you didn't notice, as the Israeli representative to the U.N said: "When you sleep with rockets, you sometimes don't wake up", because Hezbollah is working from the inside of the civilian world, firing from apartment buildings, hiding weapons in Beirut's garages, launching rockets from trucks in Lebanon's streets, and since they "help" the civilians in time of peace, the people will blindly support them in time of war, they are being used, and that's why they can't understand why civilians die. Israel warned they were gonna bomb the cities and that civilians could get hurt, they said to them to evacuate their homes as early as possible, but on the other hand, Hezbollah kept shooting rockets and thereby keeping Men, Women and children locked in suffocating bomb shelters for one month.
I feel bad as anyone else, especially being Israeli, about the innocent deaths on both sides, but this wasn't a war against Lebanon, it was against Hezbollah, if the civilians stood at their side, that's another story.

Lebanon was the biggest loser in the war between Israel and Hezbollah. Is that America's fault ? Do you even know where the weapons used by Hezbollah came from ?
They came from Syria and Iran. Why would Lebanon allow Hezbollah to operate within their borders. Where was their inapt army ? You need to understand that all the arab countries plus Iran hate Israel and don't want them to exist. It is you who needs to wake up. If you hate America so much then go and live in some arab country.

In wars, innocent people die, and it may be something one party to the war does not intend. The real question is: Why did the same (Western & Israeli) media, which justifies what Israel did in Lebanon, condemned what Yugoslavia did in its own territory in Kosovo Metohija, though Yugoslavia didn't invade Albania, even though it had the same reasons to as Israel had to invade Lebanon? The answer is: Double standards.

An equally forceful arguement could be made (and has been here, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum...) that Israel was more than sufficiently provoked into their response by a cowardly enemy who is deliberately launching attacks from, and then hiding in, the civilian population in order to kill Israeli's (whom they have openly stated that their goal is to destroy to the last person), and to publicize the casualties to swing world opinion. Who is more wrong? It's all in what you WANT to believe. I gather from your post that you take the stance you take because you , for whatever your reasons are, don't like Israel. There is truth to both sides, yet most of the posts I see here are plainly biased because of the pre-supposition of guilt by the person making the post, just like you.
