What makes you the U.S.A. intention is to truly conquer or occupy Iran? The realistic objectives is more control and access of their gas and oil markets and main an unhindered ability strike without seriously threatening response. That is far more likely.

Iran has a large and well equipped standing army. Perfect for the US to annihilate. It's the small hit-and-run tactics that chip away at US resolve (they've learned from the Vietnamese obviously). Remember, US forces are like a bull in a china shop right now. Get that bull into the field and it's a different story all together.

yea right, If I were you, I would grab a cab quick (or in your case a donkey) and get the hell outta Dodge Fast. The mid east is really pissing off the U.S. (and the rest of the world). There will be no mother of all battles, no glory, just a wave of radioactivity heading your way, and "POOF" ya gone, problem solved, and nobody from any other country will care, or say anything about it !
