I think Brandon Roy of Randy Foye are the best two candidates for ROY this early. they both had great performances in summer leagues. Roy will probably win hands down if he has decent numbers and the Blazers make a significant improvement. I won't rule out any of the lottery picks just yet though. i'll even go out on a limb to predict the all rookie first and second teams
first team
Brandon Roy
Adam Morrison
Randy Foye
Shelden Williams
LaMarcus Aldridge
second team
Rudy Gay
Ronnie Brewer
Patrick O'Bryant
Tyrus Thomas
Cedric Simmons

Randy Foye. The guy is gonna be a star. He can score in so many ways, and seems to get to the basket whenever he wants. He reminds me a lot of D Wade in how he plays, slashing to the basket or pulling up when given space. He also has some serious range on his shot, which will allow KG to find him for lots of open 3s. I expect Foye to have a great first year and he likely will be the ROY, but even if he doesn't win it i think he'll be remembered as the best from this class.

It's a tough choice this year. I would say Adam Morrison will win the ROY, as he will develop into the Bobcats' main scorer and go to guy.

I don't think Brandon Roy will have significant minutes with the Blazers, as he is sharing a position with Martell Webster and Juan Dixon, which will probably hinder his stats.

NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS ONE.

Adam Morrison, and here is why.

Look at the summer leagues. Morrison was the second leading scorer for the ENTIRE league. And there were alot of studs in the league. Now, he goes to play on an already struggling team that is LOOKING for a go to guy. He will no doubt in my mind AVERAGE 20+ his rookie year. The other guys will be playing for teams that dont need quite as much help as the Bobcats.
