What would be the reason for this if it's true?
We all know some people like to have time with themselves, but isn't it true that if you masterbate too much you wont want sex with your partner as much and that could put a strain on the marrige sex life?

Playing with yourself does not mean something is wrong in your marriage! Are you people crazy? It's only a problem if you consistently choose masturbation over sex with your spouse. If it's just now and then, there is nothing wrong with that. Guys do it, why can't us ladies do it too? Hell, I "do it myself" about twice a week, because I'm more sexual than my bf. He knows I do it, and he understands completely.

there are couples who were not very open to each other when it comes to sex. Sometimes having intercourse cant be satisfying without the knowledge of what your partner really wants to do. This needs talking and expressing your feelings in a way where your partner will understand you better. Communication is a key factor in a marriage, even in sex. Love and compatibility is a must in a marriage to make it strong+ SEX is a best factor they should have to make it exciting and even more stronger.
So if one of them chooses to masturbate than having sex with their partners, that only means, somethings wrong in the marriage. And that should be taken in action fast.
