Depends on your definition of cheap and what furnishings you are looking for. (crib, hotplate for formula, etc.)
I would recommend going to orbitz or expedia and looking at the hotels there. They list the prices for the dates you have in mind and also what services the offer.
Another alternative, if you don't mind potluck.....
When I went to London I found a nice place for around $60 US dollars a night. There is a hotel referral right at Heathrow airport for a $5 fee you tell them what part of London you want to stay and they will find one in your price range.
If you are staying more than 1 week, however, I would recommend the local newspaper and just renting a furnished flat for a week or 2. About $200 us dollars a week.

It depends on what you call cheap, the travel inns are good for kids, you can get a cot in the room, and they cost from around £65 - £85 a night, depending where in London you want to be.

I went in December and stayed at a B&B (Elmwood hotel) there are plenty around, we payed £250 for 4 nights so it extremely is approximately £50 according to night, there have been greater value-effective ones around yet we had £260 decrease back from the gas employer so had to handle ourselves! The room replaced into undemanding yet respectable finding and sparkling, double mattress and a single interior the nook, television, tea and coffees, small bathe room, breakfast secure. It replaced into basically over the line from kings bypass station as nicely which replaced into great for procuring around and likewise strolling distance to Tottenham courtroom street and Oxford highway (rather an prolonged walk although). there is plenty to do around that section, bars, eating places, Picadilly Circus is powerful for the comedy save (we paid £17 i think of according to fee tag) and nightlife despite the fact that it extremely is all somewhat high priced, whether interior the day there is greater to do for low priced, as an occasion front to the national museum is unfastened and you will be able to spend hours in there as there is plenty to work out. We went to work out we can Rock You on the dominion Theatre on Tottenham courtroom street it extremely is outstanding in case you haven't any longer considered it.
