You decide which bag is best for you, depending on the style you're looking for and your budget. But whatever you decide to purchase, don't ever buy fake. Fake Vuitton, fake Dior... they do not only look fake, they make you look cheap too. You can OR better invest in the real thing (Vuitton prices start around 250 - 300 $) OR buy a nice looking high street bag like those from Gap.
My most coveted bag purchase was a Vuitton and I have several Longchamp bags too, BUT I have a well paid job so I can easily save up for it and I guess I'm also a bit older than you, allowing me more financial space.
Don't expect yourself to buy really expensive designer bags untill you have a good job and can really afford it - even though advertising wants to make you believe that everyone should have the latest it-bag from Fendi, Balanciaga etc. A girl is so much more than a bag (even though Nicole R., Lindsay L. et all make it look just the other way around.)
Believe me, there's nothing more stupid than owning an expensive bag and having no money left in the purse. Most of us just don't have the cash to splurge on bags.
You're young, have some fun and treat yourself with an inexpensive bag now and then, without the guilt feeling!

I have three real Coach bags I purchased from a Coach store in Honolulu *not all at the same time lol*. They last SO much longer and are more durable than $10.97 fake looking bags you can get from Wal-Mart or other stores that try to copy the label. And plus, you can take them back to the store and the sales people can condition the leather for you on the spot. Yay.

Always Chanel. That's the brand (and Hermes.. of course) which you can re-sell if you are bored with it. In case of me, never bored of them, It's classic as well so never be out of date. So, it's worth to invest
