I would like to go onto gaia but i want a new email address first, can i have more than one email address?

Of course you can! I have 4 main ones and 7 ones I don't use all the time. Just sign up for another one...
Heck, some of them prefer you to have another e-mail address in case you lose your password...
And some (gmail) use e-mail invites to allow you to join. Someone needs to invite you to gmail most of the time.

Sure...I have two different Yahoo accounts, one personal and one for business, a Hotmail account, and I think a couple more I don't even use anymore...as far as I know, you can have as many as you can keep track of
