Torture and summary executions were not American values until we prostituted ourselves for the sake of Israel, thus adopting their policies, programs and procedures, despite the conflicts with our constitution and stated principles.
Though these actions violate every principle the United States is founded on, we support and protect these policies in Israel and engage in them in Iraq and Afghanistan making the term, "American values" the ultimate oxymoron.

Justify - - - what an odd concept. The situations are completely different. A Hitler may have had dreams of Military Glory and World Domination was an amusing notion but the bottom line was the Adolf was solely focused on Germany. He wanted the Jews out of Germany, He was actually ambivalent about killing them, since it seemed to thrill his supporters, what the Heck. But beyond German's borders - - - the topic bored the Hell out of Hitler.
Lebanon is a territorial dispute between two nations over a swatch of turf. The Middle East is over crowded - - - millions demand the right to live there nd they are willing to fight for it. All parties. Nuf Said - - past my bed time. Peace,

Nothing could ever justify that. Radical Islam is like Hitler and the German 3rd Reich in this respect though. They believe that their's is the superior ideology, and have the stated goal of bringing every human on earth under it's domination. Anyone who resists is dead. Sound familiar?

The Holocaust is an inexplicable phenomenon. Hitler's behavior can not be justified. However, the only fact that stands out in our present day scenario is the hypocrisy of the US & UK towards matters in the Middle East.
