I have a hunch that the RED SOX will take 4 out of 5 games as well! Yankees haven't been doing well at all lately and like I said before, the RED SOX are just takin' a breather until this weekend when we show our s/h/i/t!!
Yankees will be flying back on their brooms when we're done with them!!

It's going to be tough for the Yankees to do anything in Boston. Damon has been the Yankees most effective offensive player as of late -- I'll be curious to see if he handles the pressure from Boston any better than he did last time the Yankees came to lose.
I'm not sure how the pitching will match up, but Schilling and Wells are better than anyone in the Yankee bull pen. I'm thinking Boston will take 4 out of 5 if not a whole sweep.

Yankees win 3 of 5. Sorry, but if Boston can only take one game from a Detroit team that had come in losing 5 in a row, they're not going to beat a Yankee team on the upsurge.
If New York takes 4 or all 5, the division race is over.

It's been said so many times before, and I'll say it again. It'll likely be closer to a split, and either team could come out on top. They are really too closely matched for anything to be certain, and often the best team doesn't win anyway. Last year the Drays beat up the Yanks and the Royals swept them. This year the Drays have beaten up the Sox and the Royals swept them.
Either way, it's simply ignorant to say that either team sucks regardless of which team you're a fan of. I'm a Yanks fan and always will be, and though I may hate the Red Sox with every fiber of my being, I can still respect the fact that they are a very talented team. That's why it always comes down to a race between them, which is often more exciting than the actual World Series anyway.

Boston will WIN the whole God damn series, you know why Yankee fans???Because in the field we are way much better than you, our relievers have not been used as exhaustively the last couple weeks as much as Proctor, Farnsworth and Villione have been, so our relief pitchers will be on their game better,we have some amazing power hitters, come on people.Manny is batting like .320, Pena is batting .314, Crisp this guy is someone that all teams will fear eventually he has made game winning hits, RBIS and plays in the field. And of course we have the God of baseball, Mr.Ortiz himself.Rub your face in **** you Yankee fans, were going to blow your f***ing socks off this weekend!!!!

I think the Yankees will make a clean sweep. I mean the red sox couldn't even beat the Kansas city Royals this past week. The Yankees need to get ahead by a few more games before the playoffs get here. No I'm not a Yankees or Red Sox fan. I don't cheer for anyone in the AL. I only cheer for one team and that's in the NL and that's the St. Louis Cardinals. Thanks for the two points. :)

Boy do I wish that were the case, but I think and hope the Sox can win three of the five games. This will be a tough series, and the Red Sox pitching is weak right now. The good news is they are at home and play well at Fenway Park. This time I hope you are right, and I am wrong, GP.
Cheers!!

no longer very undesirable. it extremely is going to be split the two 2-a million for the Sox or 2-a million for the Yanks, the two group are enjoying exceedingly plenty, the pitching matchups are sturdy (Tonights a push, Saturday favors the Yankees, and Sunday the part is going to the Sox).
