Good instinctive batsman with a good temperament, and improving leaps and bounds in his main role, that is as a wicket keeper. I think he needs to remain positive and stay away from media glare for a couple of seasons and concentrate on his game a little more. Too early (and unnecessary) comparison to Adam Gilchrist can only spoil someone who has just set out. The comparisons will come after, say, one completes 50 tests or 150 one-dayers. But till then, it will be only the gutsy who can maintain the good show that he has started. I wish him luck.

Obviously MS Dhoni is a aggressive and talented player but he has to prove humself by showing consistancy in the days yet to be. He shall to prove that he's equally successful in the foreign pitches as well. Miles to go befoe Dhoni sleeps???????????

After a long time India has wicketkeeper batsman. He has a great potential. His beauty lies in his temperament. He has not let us down on crucial junctures. I rate him very high because of his temperament, skills and flavour.
Only advice for him: Lose some weight and be more athletic.
