The irony with your statement is that if you research the latino culture, they are an extremely conservative ppl. This might explain why republicans have reversed their stance on illegal immigration and are now trying to help them stay.

I guess you do what you know. I grew up in a conservative Southern Republican household, so guess what? I went to college and travelled in the military and on my own to develop a more independent view, but I question enough of what goes on to piss the majority of my family off. I still would classify myself as Conservative / Republican. The same could be said for most folks I suppose. There are lots of arguemnets as to why people are what they are politically, but I am going to say that this is probably the biggest factor.
