Some of you idiots claim that SA are "cowards" or "chicken"

I would not call leaving a country where bomb blasts are going off so close to you as being cowardly.
Additionally, the SA team got a letter from the bombers telling them that "it would be better to leave."
Plus, the SA team had an independant Indian firm investigate and on their receommendation. the team decided to leave.
It was not a decison taken lightly, but was given a lot of thought.

Have you people not thought of a right to protect human life?
These players have families back home and them leaving Sri Lanka is definitely not cowardly.

Perhaps you should rather say that Sri Lanka should ensure that bomb blasts don't go off at all rather than "guarenteeing safety with presidential security."

India, by staying, can not be regarded as "more brave".
Supporters of the team, if they truly love their cricketing heroes would prefer to see them 100% safe rather than play in a tournament where danger lurks.

It is an indication of the values each of these two nations have for individuals lives. For South Africans, as for those who share the values of the western democracies, an individuals life is more precious than any other thing in life. For Indians, however rich the cricketers are, human life is not a priority. If an incident happens, that is another incident. That is the difference between India and South Africa.

Foreign teams are a biased lot. If such an incident would have taken place in Australia or England, would they have discontinued the tour. No! They seem to be hypocrats.
India should not and would never. India understands the emotions attached with. In a way you are belittling the capability of the Sri Lankan Govt to defend the guests. However the other teams do not understand that in the sub-continent Guest is God. To defend the guest they would do any damn thing.

Win or loss is secondary, we should not play with the sentiments of the country and the public as a whole.

The Indian team stayed there because it is their country and they will be protected hopefully, by their government, we don't call ourselves losers just because they refuse to play in a country where they could be bombed to nothingness, I would call that damn brave, because the bomb exploded right by them and they still stayed, untill they were warned to leave. Then only did they make plans to leave. Tell me would you have stuck around, with bombs going off all around you, I take my hat off to the South African Cricketers for lasting that long, and in any case their games are postponed till another date, Be proud of them not ashamed that is why SA sport is such a mess because we don't have faith in them, if SA was 100% behind them it would make them play a lot better too

The Indians have not returned back as they belive in the security provided to them.....unlike south africans who were not satisfied even eith the PRESIDENTIAL security they got.
I wont say that S.A was acting cowardly, but they could have stayed as the BOMB blast was an incident that was in no way targetted towards them....and it wasnt so close to them either....by running away in this manner, they are indirectly showing the culprits that anything can be gained through terror.

BUT AGAIN, LIFE is more important and i dont blame them....
as for the INDIANS, cheers...................

No Indians trust in the security provided by Srilankan government, but SA listened to the Dubai based security agency and returned. Not to worry India will win!!!!

It shows the character and toughness of the country moreover we are facing the similar problems and we have to show these anti social elements that we shall fight against them come what may. And when the President of that country has assured of our players safety we have to trust the words a person of that status.
