KNOCK OFF !! - WITHOUT A DOUBT!!
Knock off" has two meanings. The first is to kill someone.
The second is to steal or make an illegal copy (usually of a product that will be sold as if it is the original). For example, "Clyde knocked off a store, but got caught a week later when the police saw a video tape of the robbery." Or, "I bought a Louis Vitton knock off yesterday. It looks just like the real thing
this is another one off of the wikipedia.org site:

It depends on the context of 'counterfeit'. It depends on exactly want you want to express here.
Some examples:
We want to do away with counterfeit goods. ( do away with [abolish] - is the phrasal verb)
We have to lay down the law for counterfeit goods. ( lay down-Establish laws or rules)
They are trying to pass off counterfeit goods as genuine. ( Pass off-to convince that something fake is real)
