If they got home the show would end.
This is the main failing of ongoing series they often write themselves in circles until they officially jump the shark.

'cuz that would have been the end of the show, duh. I do remember one episode where they made it back but Venger followed them and started tearing things up. Then the kids realized their weapons didn't work in the real world, so they had to go back to lure Venger with them.
That was cool.

No idea. But my son watches it, it comes on ToonDisney. Doesn't come on until the evening, thank goodness for Tivo.
