Are u kidding?? Che Guevara (1928-1967) (whose last name you spelled wrong, by the way, it's only one "r") was the revolutionary Ernesto Guevara, who began being called "Che" by his friends because "che" is the Argentinan expression for friend or pal. He is most famous for his guerilla war against the Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. So, he was born in Argentina but he was really famous as a Cuban. In 1959, he is considered in power to be second only to Fidel Castro. His demise begins in 1967, when he travels throughout Latin America and leads a revolutionary movement with his fellow guerillas. He is caught and captured in Bolivia October 8 of that year. He refuses to speak to American CIA or the Bolivian Gov't. President of Bolivia General Rene Barrientos orders the execution of Che, which is carried out on the 9 of October, 1967. For a more detailed version, it would be a good idea to check out the following website listed under "source."

He was a devoted fighter of socialism. His means are pretty questionable. It's true he helped liberating people, but he also killed those who didn't agree.
