H2O
there is a covalent bond between 2 atoms of hydrogen and an atom of oxygen........that is because the oxidation number of oxygen is -2 so to have a zero oxi number you need 2 hydrogen which has +1 charge for one atom

the formula? You mean H2O? uh....two hydrogens molecules connected to one oxygen molecule:
1-16-1= 18
H-O-H
I don't know how that helps you but I'm just recalling sh*t from chemistry class. hahaha.
