I had been married for 24 years, when I found out my husband had been having an affair for the last seven. We divorced in 1998 and for about six months I moped around ,driving my daughter mad.She got fed up of me and told me to get back out there and find a man.So I answered some dating ads in a local free newspaper,(11 of them altogether).Anyway I went out with them all and they were a right bunch of no hopers and I gave up.Two weeks later,my daughter saw an advert from a local man, needless to say I did`nt want to meet anyone else, but my daughter insisted I go for it.It was the best thing I ever did.I rang him and we talked for 4 hours none stop and we had so much in common, He had also been hurt badly,as his wife of 27yrs had left him .He asked if we could go out for a drink that night,we did and they had to throw us out of the pub in the end as they were trying to close.I knew, the minute our eyes met that he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.He is a fabulous person and would give his life for me,as I would for him.We got married in Florida 6yrs ago and we are still as much in love today as we were that first night.I never thought I`d ever be this happy again, not in this lifetime anyway, but it proves you are never too old to find true love and it`s certainly better the second time around.I am eternally grateful to my daughter for giving me that first push, back into dating.ps;she thinks he`s the best stepdad anyone could have.

Well, I don't know if this qualifies as "romantic story" but...
I met my husband at the beach during a surf meet. I was 15, he was 17. I wouldn't call it "love at first sight" more like "like at first glance" lol! Anyway, since he and I have so much in common and loved to do almost the same things, we spent a lot of time together and did many things together. He became my best friend and I his. We were the best of friends for 4 yrs. During that 4 yrs, we laughed together, cried together, failed together and succeeded together. It didn't matter what life threw our way. We were there for each other. One fine day we both realized that we didn't want to be without each other and that's when we knew. I was 19 and he was 21 when we got married. We have been married for 2 and 1/2 yrs now and needless to say, we are still best friends and nothing has changed. It is the greatest feeling in the world when you KNOW that your husband is also your best buddy.

Okay, I'll tell you mine.
I met him online, yes, online. From the instant we first chatted I knew there was something special about him. We started out as really good friends. I started to tell him about personal issues due to the fact that he inspired trust in me. We found so many similarities in each other and were more and more amazed at how we got along. Until one day, after I already knew I had feelings for this guy I've never met he told me he loved me. I confesed him my love for him too and we've been together ever since. We're planning to finish college together and then go live in England.
I'm so sure he's "the one." My prince. He's such an amazing and admirable person! He's a gentleman and always puts me first. Having not met him I feel frustrated that he I'm not with him. To some it's something silly but trust me, it's worth every little efort!

Well we both swim profesionaly for a swimming club and our eyes met across the pool, it was obvious that we both liked each other but both of us were too scared to say. Then all of a sudden he asked one of my friends for my cell number and he started texting me all the time. Just saying general things, like asking how my day was etc. After four or five months of texting we decided to meet, everything went good but because neither one of us had said how we really felt nothing happend. we then didnt talk for roughly four months and he moved into another swimming group. After the four months had passed he text me again asking where it had all gone wrong and telling me how beautiful i was and that he wanted me for good. once again i agreed to meet him and weve been together ever since. hes the only man iv ever loved and ever will love. its great because we enjoy doing the same things and have a lot of the same intrests. i wouldnt trade him for anything. weve been together now for 2 and a half years and i hope that it lasts forver!!

I met a girl after moving and I didn't think she would give me the time of day. She was a good girl, with a very solid head on her shoulders. She was very religious as was her whole family, and she changed me in many ways. We fell in love and it was a whirlwind romance, many firsts for her as she had led a rather sheltered life, and many for me I never saw coming. Eventually her mother got furious because she didn't come home one night. She left me because her mother disapproved. Then after awhile she came back, this went on over and over in total four times so far. The last time her mother pulled her out of my house, and she still came back. She is younger than me but old enough to be out of her parents house but she is afraid, because I was her first love and they are all she knows. I asked her to consider marriage and she has left me, but then she has sent me a message saying I am very important to her and she doesn't want to lose me so I do not even know what to think. i cannot help that I love her though, for the first time in my life I experienced true love, and I never saw her coming. So thats it minus all of the great romantic times including the second time she came back to me she showed up at the park where I always run and we had talked and she left and I thought I was never going to see her again and she came back after it had started pouring down rain and chased me down in the storm. I held onto her until it stopped raining and even then it was hard to let go. We had a few nice kisses in the rain including that time. Hopefully it will all work itself out, I am afraid I have sacred her off for good though with the talk of marriage. But I have to have faith and believe if it is meant to be it will be, but it isn't easy. Thats the summary, enjoy and God bless!

aaaa.. I'll NEVER FORGET. I was going into the liquor store to get some ZIG-ZAGs and she was coming out with a bottle of Capt Morgan's. I knocked the bottle out of her hand and it crashed on the sidewalk. Even at the height of anger the pissed look of the emerald green eyes took me to my knees. I offered to replace the Morgan, and she came inside. It was a long line and we talked. We covered many subjects and found out we knew some of the same people. It our turn at the register and I got the papers I was after. She asked if she could party with me,and of course I obliged. I said ya cupcake but its going to cost you a swig of that rum. We got into my Ford conversion van and sat in the ally behind the store put a buzz on. Before long we began to make out. Smoked and drank some more. Then I folded out the bunk she got naked and I began bouncing my balls off her sweet a-hole in hard missionary style sex. IS THAT HEART WARMING OR WHAT?
drop the Morgan and get an organ
