The best tning about blue tooth is it allows you to interface your phone or PDA with other devices. This is really handy when you want to sync your phone with your PC (pocket PC outlook to office outlook), transfer files between phones and/or devices, use to connect keyboards with your PDS phones, and send contacts, notes, messages to other blue tooth users.
And the coolest thing about bluetooth is that its for free!

You can use quite a few things with bluetooth now a days, you can link up to your computer to transfer data between them, same with other friends phones as well. Hospitals can use it for certain equipment, can have wireless keyboards, mouses and printers. Its free to use bluetooth, its wireless!

In addition you can transfer files between the computer and the phone. Some cars have bluetooth in it, so you can make your phone calls through your car.

Nothing really. If you need wireless connectivity, then, you need a bluetooth phone... If not, you don't. Pretty simple really. And pretty much all of them have it nowadays, so they're not special at all lol.

you can talk on your cell phone with out holding it to your ear.
