I think up to 7 or 8 years is okay. When it gets up to a decade, you may as well just give it up. A decade or more is like culture shock for both of you. You don't listen to the same music, wear the same clothes, watch the same shows, play the same games....it's just hard to compromise.

It depends on how old you both are, in the early years (teens - 20's ) I wouldn't have been comfortable with more than 3 or 4 years difference but as you get older it doesn't seem to matter as much. I am 44 and my girlfriend of two years is 30.

In my opinion, there is no accounting for the dynamics of love and compatilbility. Therefore, I am of the belief that age is a matter of mind. If you don't mind, it really doesn't matter.
Some people who are involved in relationships where there is a significant age difference find that it works to their benefit as the qualities of youth and maturity actually end up complementing each other.

As long as the other partner is over 18 YO, then any age gap is acceptable.

As courting is alot diverse to me than marriage, as long as they're criminal age, we like one yet another and when it comes to the single's that are nevertheless in dad and mom abode, they dad and mom recognize who i'm and my age, they is not any limits. Now i doesn't date every person heavily more effective than 7 or 8 years large difference, and can make that popular. large difference's more effective than that are literally unlikely to make truly tremendous marriage's for my area.

Uhm... 5. Not only because of the appearance, but there's also a big mental difference. It's almost like another generation.
