From the reponses here the Americans seem to hate foriegners and those who can't speak English.

Maybe everyone would be happier then if Americans stayed in America?

I've sat on both sides for a full year now, and I stand with the people that have beared the burdens of the world, when called
we send our sons to defend and die
we feed the hungry
clothe the naked
teach the uneducated
yes we are good, not perfect, for noone can be
but Jesus
but we are good hearted loving people who give
help, and stand up for the defenseless.
We push for peace
We look out for you because we love you, not to hurt you
When you need something who do you call?
At this we sacrafice our own needs by ignoring our
own system to help others.
We have poor in America
We have corruption
We have fighting
But who doesn't?
We are doing our best to help others become self sufficient and stand on their own two feet and have the blessings
SO MANY Blessings
that we enjoy and we want just to see you smile
is that so hard to ask?
Our men have died in Iraq, Germany, France, Veitnam, Japan and all over the world to help continue life on this planet.
This is truth, without terrorizing you into doing it or blowing you up unless we were left with no choice.
And what a terrible choice it was, do you think FDR wanted to do that?

Don't lump every american in with the loudmouth, patriotic bunch. Some of us actually travel and respect other cultures. Some of us know that we aren't the be all and end all of freedom. Some of us prefer other countries but live here to be close to our families. Some of us don't judge those who have trouble learning english.

When you generalize about all americans, your as bad as an american. We specialize in judgement of others and sitting on our high horses =)

*Dear Blabby does NOT speak for all americans. Thats the opinion of ignorance. Many americans know that we don't swoop in and rescue everyone from dictators unless theres something in it for us.

That seems resonable - They hate everything that isn't American - Pull back the troops bring home the Yanks and build a wall - They won't have to see hear or think about anyone else but themselves - We can send them a post card once a year they'd be happy the world would be happy .

America for Americans - go there - stay there hmm could work

The Project for the New American Century, or PNAC, is a Washington-based think tank created in 1997. Above all else, PNAC desires and demands one thing: The establishment of a global American empire to bend the will of all nations. They chafe at the idea that the United States, the last remaining superpower, does not do more by way of economic and military
force to bring the rest of the world under the umbrella of a new
socio-economic Pax Americana.

The fundamental essence of PNAC's ideology can be found in a White Paper produced in September of 2000 entitled "Rebuilding America's Defenses:
Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century." In it, PNAC outlines what is required of America to create the global empire they envision. According to PNAC, America must:

* Reposition permanently based forces to Southern Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East;
* Modernize U.S. forces, including enhancing our fighter aircraft, submarine and surface fleet capabilities;
* Develop and deploy a global missile defense system, and develop a strategic dominance of space;
* Control the "International Commons" of cyberspace;
* Increase defense spending to a minimum of 3.8 percent of gross domestic product, up from the 3 percent currently spent.

Most ominously, this PNAC document described four "Core Missions" for the American military. The two central requirements are for American forces to "fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major theater wars," and to "perform the 'constabulary' duties associated with shaping the security environment in critical regions." Note well that PNAC does not want America to be prepared to fight simultaneous major wars. That is old school. In order to bring this plan to fruition, the military must fight these wars one way or the other to establish American dominance for all to see.

i think you are right.im american but i moved to another country because its become shameful livinghere. to be associated with most of the anti everyone else in the world windbags.
America has grown too arrogant. thats why 9/11 happened and then afterwards they were confused as to why. Its because they are blind idiots that dont care what is happening on the other side of the oceans. Whatever the news tels them about other cultures is the extent of the experience they want.
the president is embarrasing as hell.....
