I think God wants us to choose. If he did everything for us then we wouldnt be unique, independent, individuals. Does He love us? Well, i would never suggest the opposite. Who else are you going to call on when you are in trouble? Who else do you have to be grateful to? You have to have something to believe in and you have to be optimistic.
We cant waste time feeling sorry for ourselves. we have to move forward and make the most of our lives

Get real you guys. There is no higher being looking down on us and if you don't like my opinion then I'm sorry but I'm entitled to it. How do you honestly know he exists? Everyone should love each other and not rely on the love of someone who doesn't exist. I have a happy and fulfilled life, no not because of money, but because I have a loving family and make the most of each day. I accept the fact that one day we will not see each other again which is very sad but unfortunately part of life, and the sooner everyone excepts it the better. Yes it's a horrible thought and it's scary but there's nothing we can do to change it. Enjoy LIFE, not live for what you might think will happen after it.

What do you perceive God to be - an old man with a white beard up in the clouds who meets out blessing and punishment according to his rules.
Personally I think God loves us because God is the life of our bodies, the stuff of which we are made. Since God is everything.. we are a part of it. We have been given the intelligence to make choices. In those choices are the needs of our own rewards or punishment. God just says yes.

It's not actually a freedom to sin but a free will to do what a person wants to do given that a person also takes of its consequence. Every act has its prize and not all misfortune is a work of God. Its also the doings of human.

Yes, God loves us. He created us and the universe we live in. In the beginning it was a perfect world with no sin, but Lucifer (Satan) ruined it for everyone. Satan wanted to be as powerful as God, so God threw him out of Heaven. Satan's revenge is to turn us against God, and he can do this because God gave us a free will. When we sin we separate ourselves from God. So God came up with a way of getting forgiveness. Rituals, such as the sacrifice of lambs, was the answer. Then later, God realized that this method just wouldn't cut it anymore, so He gave us the one thing He loved the most - His Son. His Son, Jesus, was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. That's why Jesus was called the lamb of God. Now, all we have to do is believe and accept Christ as our Savior and we are forever forgiven. We'll continue sinning because Satan continues to exist, but all we have to do is ask for forgiveness. This shows how much God loves us - He gave His only Son to save us from our sins.

A KIND and JUST God.
Sure, God could've made the entire world peacful and loving, but it would be fake love, fake peace. If he did, he would have to take away our freedom, and our freedom was why he created us in the first place. Freedom to love him, fear him, become companions/partners of him, or to not.
He can't ensure peace/love and give us freedom. But being a KIND and LOVING God, He can offer us a JUST way to not get punished for our sins, and He willing gave up his beloved son to die for us.
That actaully sounds horrible doesn't it? Sacrificing your son. However, it was actaully a LOVING thing to do to His son, because the son was a JUST and LOVING person too, and wanted it that way. God created the earth, and wants His son to be throned on it, (wouldn't you?) very few people wanted God or his son, so his son agreed to go give up his divinity, become human, and walk the earth and then die. After death he was revived, etc... and becuase he took our sins on him, created a LOVING and KIND but at the same time legally JUST way for us to escape.
Makes sense now?

God doesn't necessarily punish us when we sin. The Bible says,
Gal 6:8
8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
It isn't so much punishment as it is cause and effect. When we sin there are consequences. Just like when we break the law we suffer the consequences.
I love that fact that God gives us the choice to live for Him or not. That is what makes the relationship between Him and I so personal and meaningful. I was able to choose this life. And it's awesome! :)
Where the love is is in what God sent His Son to do for us on the cross so that we can be forgiven of those sins we commit.
John 3:16-21
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."
(NIV)
God bless you!

He loves us, but sometimes doesn't like us much. He loved us to give his Son as a sacrifice, to make it possible for the humans of the world to gain forgiveness for their sins. Prior to Jesus, according to the Convenient with David, the Jews had to perform yearly sacrifices of a lamb to forgive their sins. They had to slit its throat, and allow its soul to pour out on the ground. The flesh of the lamb was than consumed by fire. But, this sacrifice only applied to Israel.
When Christ gave up his life, spilling his soul on the ground, followed by his flesh being destroyed, this fulfilled the Convenient, and made it possible for everyone to gain forgiveness for their sins. This still does not create any guarantees, just as Moses had no guarantee that he would enter the Promise Land. Just one sin was all it took to prevent him enter. That sin is believe to be was when he said that he brought forth the water from the rock. But, was it that action, or was his sin that he presumed in his heart that with all the good he had done, that one thing wrong would not count?
Never assume anything when it comes to God. Always strive to do what is right, in accordance to the Bible, and not according to many of the mythological teaching of self professed Christian Churches. Christ did say there would be many claiming to speak in his name. Also, don't assume that simply because you are born again that you are always saved. Committing willful sin after being born again means you are sinning against the Holy Spirit, and that is the only sin that Jesus said is unforgivable.
God loves you to give you Jesus, but it is still your choice to make a heartfelt and conscientious choice to accept it to and live properly there after

when adam and eve sinned in the garden of eden, the perfect relationship we once had with him was broken. He then gave us a free will to choose whether or not to obey him. But HE always loves us! I John in the Bible will answer all of your questions. read the whole thing. If we confess our sins, he is faithful to always forgive us. And HE LOVES YOU, wherever you might be tonight. He wants you to be in a perfect relationship with Him. If you confess your sins to him (none of us is perfect!), ask him into your heart to stay, He will come in and help you be the person He wants you to be and you will be HIS CHILD! He wil be your father, always loving you, always there for you to help you along the way, and you have that guarantee! Do you have a Pastor? I highly recommend one. I am here for you.

He does love us - but we challenged him years ago (garden of eden) that we knew better and he is giving us a good run for our money so when he finally steps in we cant say hey not enough time a few more thousand years and we would have done it. Bascially he is giving us enough rope to hang ourselves (mankind as a race not individually) It is freedom to sin, but it is still our choice.

GOD LOVES US!!!!that's for sure
God gave us free will,..that is to do good...
free will to chose right or wrong...
i think you're tryng to say that you are blaming God for sinning..
sinning is choosing the wrong...God punished us when we sin so we won't choose to sin anymore....because He loves us...
a verse in the Bible tells something like...
God punishes those He love...
for me it is more of a disciplinary act of God/....
i hope you get it....
GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
