I WASNT SURPRISED AT ALL CUZ I THINK THE REFEREE FORGOT THE MONEY THAT THE FAMOUS CHEATERS HAD GIVEN TO HIM!!!

You seem to know that Materazzi didn't play, but you don't seem to know that, except for Ambrosini, the guys who played for Italy yesterday hadn't played many matches on the national team, and many of them were even making their debut! The coach was experimenting and he could do so since it was just a friendly match. Even if that meant losing.
See, we Italians know that you can't win all the time, and we don't care. After all, it's just a game. We aren't whining on this forum because we lost yesterday -- unlike the French and German fans who have been whining, complaining, cursing and bashing for two months now. You can call Italy cheaters and whatever else you like, but Italians are showing much more sportsmanship than you guys on this forum.
Plus, don't be so negative! France lost the World Cup final almost a couple of months ago... but they won over Bosnia yesterday, so instead of being as bitter as usual, be happy and celebrate!
