I have two alarm clocks. The first is set at 6:00 in the morning
and my other alarm clock wakes me up 1 hour earlier meowing to get outside. The first alarm clock can tell time;however, the second alarm clock needs some work.

Since I work night, I get 10 hours of sleep, because night workers have the highest levels of cancer and other diseases. Night time is the only time that the immune system regenerates. It is also the time when the brain sorts and stores what you learned during the day, your muscles are re-oxidized, and for males under 30 and females under 24, it is the time when you do all your growth and development. It is important that every adult gets 8 hours of sleep, because not doing will cost you big later. For males, if you think you are tall enough or hung enough, than don't get a full night sleep. Females, if you think you are developed enough, and don't care if you chances of developing breast cancer in your late 30s and 40s, are substantially increase, than get only a few hours of sleep a night.

I know you young folks don't want to think about all the tomorrows that are ahead, but the lack of sleep you get now you will be paying for later.

I used to go to sleep at any time but always wake up a certain time, weird but cool. Now I have to use an alarm clock. Bummer!

No. I go to bed when I am tired, get up when I wake and try to keep a schedule that allows me to be me. Maybe it's not typical, but it works for me and since I work for myself, I rarely *have* to be at an appointment early enough that it would be a problem. I will say that it can cause self-imposed problems: like when I have to travel, I like to start out early (4am or so). Out of habit, I don't get up that early and so in anticipation of a trip I am often less rested than I feel good about, but hey! it's a small price to pay to leave town ;)

Yes. If I didn't have an alarm clock then I wouldn't have a job. I sleep the sleep of the dead!

Yeah, I do, but I always sleep through it. Well, not completely. I wake up just enough to feel around and hit the snooze, then I fall right back asleep. Always. It sucks, because I usually end up having only about 20 min to get ready!

Yes unfortunately I need one or I,d just sleep right through, I must push the snooze bar at least 4 times though, so I give myself an extra 1/2 to do that, then I get up. Thank god for them really. I do envy people who do,nt need them though.

If I have to be somewhere early then I do. But since I am a student and I have the summer off, I usually don't have anywhere to be at a certain time, at least not that early.

But I use my phone alarm if I need to be up at a certan time though.
