I'm talking about life. People. Animals. Politics. Education. Technology. Land. Water. Everything. Not necessarily the same physically, but in principle.

there are millions of galaxies, out there. each holding billions of stars. Each star having a few planets around it...

That makes a LOT of planets, don't you think?

What's the odds of there being a planet a bit like ours out there, knowing there are trillions of planets out there?

This argument proves the existence of another planet which holds carbon based life, and an nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere.
As for the "people", humans only live on earth.
As for education, it is necessary if the life of the said planet is "intelligent" (which is not completely absurd)
As for Politics, maybe, but not necessarily: an "intelligent" race has to understand that they are stronger if united. (by the way, this is a proof we're idiots)
As for technology, there are several ways to achieve technological development, not all are desirable, and some are better than our way.
Land and water ? What do you mean? you want a planet where you can use a terran map to move around? stop dreaming. The land layout comes from a chaotic system. It's impossible to reproduce completely. But the basics will be there (on at least a few planets)

Everything? no. Not everything. some things ARE going to be different (that's the hard truth that probabilities tell you)

PS: it's out there, but you're never going to go there. You were born on earth and will live out your entire life on earth. The travel is way to long for you to live through it, and the ticket costs way too much for you to afford it.

If you put a billion monkeys in a room with typewriters, you'll soon get the words of Shakespeare.

If you have a big bang, eventually, things will be crazy, planets will form, bacteria evolves, and geeks will go on Yahoo! Answers.

Why not wait for a second copy of Shakespeare?

No. I used to imagine that because i grow to be mind-washed by technique of the Western worldview of technological information and skepticism. From a biblical attitude, there does no longer might want to be "every person" else in this complete universe. and in reality, if there have been, it would want to deny the status we people have with God as being created "in His photo" and the "top of creation". it truly is strictly for those 2 statements that enable the Judeo-Christian construct of religion, wish and Love. For the believer can stay a existence understanding they're granted desire less than God's grace as His well-known creation. outdoors this personal identity, someone is as valueless as airborne dirt and dust. it really is the position Hinduism and many faiths defer. Why do you imagine Hindus by no skill more desirable as a society for thousands of years or perhaps to on the prompt relegate their society into diverse instructions of human beings by skill of caste? because with no personal identity and courting to/with God, each individual is on their personal! The bible tells the reality. God created each and each of the universe in an attempt to have a customary reminder of what "eternal" skill. there is not any the position else in each and each of the "international" that we may be able to witness eternity in action. to disclaim creation is to disclaim ones' self. The believer accepts one's self as area of creation. The unbeliever stands except for creation peering into it like a fishbowl attempting to verify it out.

I'm pretty sure way more than you'd expect. Look at how many stars are out there. I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones living with all these junk or whatever you want to call it.
