drink lots of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Take 3 fish oil pills a day or add more fatty fish like salmon to your diet.
oatmeal soothes irritated skin. make a mask with the Aveeno oatmeal bath or just use regular oatmeal.
use an oil-free moisturizer to balance your skin. I like the Dermalogica line.

Well, to start off, you should not break out after a facial. If your esthetician knew how to do extractions correctly this would not be happening. As far as food goes: cranberry juice-pure 100%, no sugar added, you can dilute with water. It is naturally anti-bacterial so it will help blemishes from the inside out. Make sure you are eating plenty of greens. Avoid spicy foods. Avoid caffeine. Drink a cup of green tea a day. Supplements-zinc Skin Care-look for products for sensitive skin, and oil free moisturizers. To prevent the dryness you mentioned, cleanse skin only in the evening, there is no need to in the morning. In the morning use a gentle exfoliator. A scrub that has synthetic round beads. Anything like "apricot, walnut, etc" will scratch the skin and cause redness.

Ever since I've done this routine I've had very very clear soft skin- 1. I wipe of all my makeup with sheercover conditioning cleanser. You could also use baby wipes or a face cloth and some unscented lotion. 2. I wet my face and apply Apricot Scrub (you can find this at walmart for really cheap) and rub in circular motions all around my face. This is something I highly recommend ! I love this product! 3. Then I use these (clean and clear I think) cleansing face pads. 4. Lastly I put on some unscented face moisturizer. No Fancy brand or anything... Just what I find laying around lol. I always do this before bed and in the morning. It clears my skin awesomely. Hope I helped! Have a nice day:)!

I know what you are going through. First off, just because you are breaking out, doesn't mean you should not put moisturizer on your face. That is very important. Second off, food wise stick with healthy items fruits, veggies, and whole grains. The more natural the food, the easier for your body to digest it, and take in the nutrients. I would also recommend a daily vitamin. I myself take a pre-natal. I am not pregnant, but it has the most nutrients in it, than any other multi-vitamin. Also, find a good skincare product. I recommend MAC facial wipes. They work to remove makeup, and clean your face, but not dry you out. They also have really great moisturizers. Good Luck!!!

You know the drill, lots of water, lots of fruits and veggies, and a multi-vitamin to fill in the holes. Your nails and hair will get better, too. But my acne-prone daughter started using Pro-Active and it cleared her up. After a while, she thought she could quit, but it flared back up again. Honest, you wouldn't recognize the before and afters. Good luck
