My roomate, who shall remain nameless... has been having symptoms..& I think she's pregnant..what do you think??
No period..she's two and 1/2 weeks late
craving icecream & salad
sore nipples, not breasts ,just nipples
she's been cranky...and snappy...but just like that she'll be sad and depressed.
i'm going in with her to the doctor tomarrow..

Oh and also she's having cramps,like she's going to start her period, but there's nothing, this has been going on for a little over a week.

She's taken two preg test, but they're cheapies....we're poor college kids :(

Sounds like she is pregnant to me! I have 3 kids, and I can tell you that each pregnancy was different from day one! Some women DO experience the cravings before they know for sure that they ARE pregnant! So, to listen to these people who say its not possible would be an unwise choice. With my last pregnancy, I took 2 urine tests and they both came out NEGATIVE!!! I did one at home, and the doc did one in the office! My pregnancy was confirmed through a blood test!
I showed all the classical symptoms of my period coming with all three of the pregnancies too, and it never showed, obviously. That included the sore nipples, and swelling of the breasts!
EVERY WOMAN IS DIFFERENT!! Good luck to you both!

2 and a half weeks late wouldn't give her all these mad symptoms.
sor nipples at this stage is too early and cravings at this stage is also too early.
the cranky bit may well just be her hormones going mad coz shes about to come on.
I'm not saying she isn't pregnants BUT the symptoms you describe are just a bit wrong.
get a home pregnancy kit.... clear blue work well.

It sounds pretty likely, but let the doctor be the judge of that. She will have to bring a urine sample to the docs, so tell her to bring the first morning's urine as this will have the greatest concentration of human chorionic gonadatropin (hCG), the hormone produced when a fetus is present, and the hormone they test for in pregnancy tests.

If it's been only 2 weeks, she's probly not, her nipples wouldn't be sore that soon. If she's cramping, she's probably about to get her period and her mood is probably PMS

I would definatly go to a doctor, she/he will know for a fact if your roomie is pregnant or not and then try to help her out after that, good luck! <3

even cheap tests work, you either have the hormone in you or not so i should think shes not pregnant ,tell her now to have any unprotected sex untill she knows,well she shouldnt be having unprotected sex any way, hope she's not good luck,

Yes she might be prengnant if she's had sex of course. But even if she hasn't she should still go to the doctor.

sounds like pms but if thinks she's preg. why doesn't she just take a home pregnancy test?

sounds to me like she could be it be that or just late i would defiantly get her Dr's a wish you both lick keep in touch
