I would have to say the wonders of the ancient world. That would include the Pyramids, the Parthenon, and the Colloseum.
All of these buildings required intricate calculation and manpower. To think building as complex as these were created without the aid of calculators or machinery is enough to earn the awe and respect of anyone.
In essence these building are beautiful because they were near-perfect and every flaw is a tribute to the passage of time and the imperfection of man. You also have to admire the lifespan of these magnificent structures.

I suppose Marilyn Monroe is too easy of an answer.
Actually, if you go for Gothic architecture, there's no beating the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

I really cannot decide myself....I really like The Schonbrunn Palace, The Eiffel Tower, The Pyramids...Too many and I love them all..
