Is it a good idea for the Quebec City ABA franchise to be called the Frogs?

Would it be offensive because Quebec has a lot of French speakers, and Americans usually refer to the French as "frogs"?
I think that would be a cool name for a basketball franchise. It's already better than "Bobcats", "Knicks", "Lakers", "Magic", ...

It's silly and unimaginative, just like the names of many other sports franchises.
