Yes, he did; he was already on probation for that stupid move on Alex Tagliani in the previous race. With only 16 cars and the next race in Montreal, Champ Car couldn't really suspend him, so, I suppose a $25,000 fine and an extension of his probation was the best (maybe only) option available.
Unless he breaks his contract or is fired by Forsythe, he'll be back in the Champ Car series next year, not in the IRL as someone else has suggested.

he certainly did. i was a big fan of his, but two races in a row!!! common ! either he needs to have his vision checked and use that as an excuse or he should be removed from the lineup in montreal.

It won't make a big difference, most fans are there to see Tag or Andrew Ranger. I hope a fan chucks an egg at PT and shows him that unsportsman like conduct will not be tolerated by the fans.

Frankly thought it was too much racing requires passion a little shovig or fighting is just a part of the sport, ifya dont believe me head out to your local track for the Saturday night races

Paul Tracy...he got into a shoving match with another driver, that's really all I know about it. It's not like any penalty will be very meaningful since he'll likely be in the IRL next year.
