good question. You asked with so many things (starts, moons etc) i think you will get the answer if i answer just for moon.
See, the moon is too far away from us. So by walking a short distance will make no difference in the angle of the line joinig the moon and us. so what changes is the objects on the earth that falls on the line. So it seems the moon is walking with us.
Another simple explanation is : When travelling in a car the objects near us (trees) moves back very fast where as further objects (hills) moves back slower. Similarly the moon is so far that it moves back very very less and seems to be moving with us.

it incredibly is by way of fact of a term called parallax. placed your thumb and inch faraway from the two eyes. Now, close your left eye. be conscious the place your thumb is with regards to distant products, which incorporate a trash can or a door. Now, close your real eye, and open your left eye. the place is the thumb now? In an incredibly different place relative to our environment! pretend that rather of flashing between eyes, you walked between your eyes--strolling from one place to a different. The thumb could be a street sign or mountains or some thing that doesn't circulate with you as you progression. however the door or the trash can "strikes with you" as you progression. that's by way of fact no longer in basic terms is it plenty farther away, it relatively is gigantic sufficient which you would be able to work out it. If there grow to be a pencil as far out by way of fact the moon grow to be, there could be no thank you to ever see it and characteristic it follow you (without telescope of direction, which might artwork--A telescope will stay aimed on that merchandise even no remember if it relatively is on a truck going at 50 mph {provided that the telescope does not undergo shocks or wind resistance}). Parallax, my expensive, is the respond.

Parallax. You see a large object from a distance, and that object appears stationary to your position because it can be seen from any point in a large area. In reality, the illusion does "move," but it does so more slowly the further away the object is.

Any object at an infinitely great distance from us seems to create such an effect. The distance you traverse is infinitesimally smaller as compared to the distance of the Sun/Moon so there is no perceptible change in its position. So, they look as though they are travelling with you.

the only basic concept in this is the distance u r travelling is infinetly smaller then the distance between u and the solar system so when u compare your movement with solar system it seems to be negligable, and they seem to be moving with u
up to a certain distance, and after u had crossed a comparable distance they seem to be change in the movement between u and the solar sysytem

it is far away from you so it seems that it is moving with you
but if you are travelling in a car for a long way you can see that the positions of the stars changed.

because though they are also moving...we actually move much faster than them so they appar to be moving too while we are moving... they have slow movement while we are fasterthan them aside from they are very from from us... notice how you feel like you are also moving when you see a ship beside your ship moving? it more like that...
